Hi everyone

Happy new year!

Got a question.............. if I were to eventually live with a new partner, how would his income effect my IVA? Would he have to help pay? Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't remember the rules

Thanks [8D]

No, he wouldn't have to pay but they may ask for his income details to verify that he is paying his share towards utilities etc., as sometimes two can live cheaper than one it may free up some additional disposable income to pay into the IVA but he definitely wouldn't pay towards your IVA. Some posters have been know to lodge as such with a proper rent book etc., (I'm sure I've read that). x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It might depend on who your company is. I know Payplan operate on a household income basis to calculate DI (whether they apply that retrospectively I don't know.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Your partners income figure would be used to ensure a fair split of household bills. If the frees up some of your disposable income to go to the iva you may be asked to contribute more.
