Found Gumtree to be a great resource for those of us on a tight budget.....gives Ebay a run for its money!

I don't trust any of them!

Ebay and Amazon are brilliant but I haven't used Gumtree so I don't know about them.

I've seen Gumtree advertised on TV but will probably stick with what I know.

That's why I like Ebay and Paypal - whatever I sell on there funds my spending!

Just as a point of interest - are you covered if payments go wrong with Gumtree?

Kallis theres no payments via Gumtree whatsoever. People just post up an item for sale and you go and buy...or vice versa if your the seller.

Its great because its local, free and simplicity itself to post up an item for sale. Takes 5 mins to post an ad.

Just Google Gumtree....you'll be surprised......its a sort of free ad paper but on the tinternet. Some people leave a tel no for contact but some also use an email addy....personal choice.

I actually buy a lot of stuff from around the country and around the world from Ebay and I love the fact that I just pay and that's it.

I have googled it and have to say I wasn't overly impressed.

I would recommend Freecycle rather than that as it costs nothing to post an ad and the stuff you get is free as well.
