Hi,

Yes, as lon as you are not running a business and the stuff you are selling is your own then it is perfectly acceptable.

A lot of us do it.

harrimav dont forget you can also use Gumtree.....ads are free, local and you can post up new items till your hearts content. Also allows for 9 free pics on each ad. Much faster than Ebay.

I've sold a couple of things that I no longer use recently via ebay and found it to be fine. Very good transactions. I might sell my table and chairs soon, by the sounds of it Gumtree would be ideal as they'll come look and collect hopefully! x

That's the bit I couldn't be bothered with Lesley! As much as I moan about posting things I don't want to have to wait for people to not bother turning up when they are supposed to!

I would get them to come on a Saturday as I'm mostly in looking after the Grandtwins and if they didn't it wouldn't have wasted my time x

Agree Skippy - I liken it to something like Auto Trader where they say they'll come to look at your car but they don't turn up.

I've only ever sold one car privately - I've part exchanged my others as I can't be bothered with the waiting around!

The only one I sold privately was to someone I worked with. Otherwise, as you say, it's been part exchanged.

I have bought a fair few cars on ebay, and sold a couple with no problems. It's a matter of luck and homework. I did get carried away once and bought a BMW at 2 in the morning ---- Mrs F was not pleased !!!!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

We have sold on ebay.

I haven't done this myself, but if you are on Facebook sometimes that are local buy and sell groups where you can place ads (for free). Although for our local one you needed to be added by someone else to join the group. xx
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!
