Hi,

Once a final settlement has been paid is your name removed from the Insolvency register or does this stay for 6 years?

Thanks

hi- once you have completed you will be removed from the register. Your credit rating will be shot for the 6 years tho.

That's what i thought but the company who arranged my IVA have just told me it will stay on there for the full 6 years. Do you know where i could find proof of this?

Thanks

Someone else will verify but I think your company is wrong. Who are you with?

Julie is right. Your credit file will be shot for 6 years but your name will be removed from the insolvency register when your IVA ends, whether it be full term or early.

Declan posts on here so hopefully he will pick this up.

Also some posters who have completed their IVA's/ BR will be able to tell us how long they stayed on the register after completion.

Have you completed your IVA?

I've just checked on someone who has completed their IVA and not on register.

I'm sure I'm right but I'd like someone else to confirm.

Sorry Lisa, I missed your post [:I]

Thanks for confirming, i was starting to doubt myself [:D]

jc_test, I can only think it was a junior member of staff that gave you incorrect info. Not acceptable I know, so hopefully Declan will still pick up on this.

Hi
Yes, records of your IVA are removed from the insolvency register once completed.

I would be very keen to know who the company were who arranged your IVA. Was this a packaging company or an actual IP firm, as the advice they have given you is completely incorrect.
