Hi ladyh, Nice to know you... I have been around for a million and one years and still getting no younger! I hope there is something we can cross texts with at sometime. If you care to drop by my outreach site, I hope that too will be of interest... Let me know... :-)

Nice to know the team is still strong and after this time I have been off the forum, the stability of advice remains consistent.

It now seems after just a week or so return to forum, the topics seem the same arguement... why on earth do IP and their dominions put up such a barrier when you want to try for a F&F? ...

Right now, I see so many problems in attitudes against just trying to close the books! Are they just so fist tight that they are thinking of the year(s) charges they will lose upon reduction of their services, or are they just too shallow minded to see reality? ...

The way I see it, especially if you have ridden the IVA for a few years, even only half way, should it not be reasonable to consider that as the future is ALWAYS unpredictable, then to get help to close the book should be a plus and not a minus!! ... It is the Creditor(s) that we all owe, not the IP!!!

I am hoping that I will be in a position later this year to arrange to cut my 6 years short by at least a year... it seems such a daunting task to consider when you see the responses of some of the IP's... Again I say, if only Melanie could just take over the files of this forum, the whole world might be a brighter place!!!!

I would be more reassured when/if I get the chance later this year, that I am not beating the bush with fire... based on some of the forum posts at the moment; IP responses seem to be too mixed for reality!! It is not IP money; it is creditors' money!

The aim is to just be able to move on with life... If I manage to sort it out this year sometime, then I will have done towards 5 of 6 year term... I think that is fair enough under the circumstances... especially when you consider the major dividends they received from me in year one and two for 50% issues.

My friend was asking if anyone needs to see their bank account before making payment so to prove they have funds prior to making offer... I have said I believe not as the proof of payment will be in making the payment itself when requested... noone should need to see their personal details... Anyway, it will all be down to physically making funds available in the first place, so I just hope that I will be writing here soon that a F&F has not only been offered, but also accepted!!!! :-)
