I think you could very well be right.

There are also the people who have taken out IVA's, or gone down the DMP route who will find their mortgages rising in the next year or so and be in trouble with their debt payments.

I wonder if we will see a rise in IVA failures?

My fixed rate comes to an end next year this is factored into my IVA and the payments reduce in line with the increase in the mortgage payments x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
