I can't express my gratitude to Declan enough, my face today showed it for all to see when i received an email at work to tell me that i could indeed keep my staff lotto win of £500. Declan you are without doubt a star and thank you from the bottom of my heart for sorting that out. It does prove that even the biggys have a heart. Whilst £500 to some folk isn't a great deal to someone in an IVA it is a vast amount and something that you dont' squander or fritter away having learnt to budget and be frugal. I shall now cruise the waves to see where i can get a mattress from to suit my bed, i could say i'll think of you when sleeping on it Declan but i don't think that would be quite right, (laughing now). Many many thanks Declan and it proves that honesty does pay. x
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

I think we ought to get Declan a Superman Tee-shirt after all the work he has put in sorting out all these glitches.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Thanks everyone, Foggy i quite agree once he'd received my email he didn't let it drop and i'm sure that had i not notified him i would indeed be writing a cheque out for that sum this weekend once it had cleared in my bank. I think some credit also goes to DFD they're have been very fair here so as i said before it does prove even those big firms can be humanistic as well, but i do think the majority of credit goes to Declan and people like him for tirelessly sorting out what can be difficult situations sometimes.

We do tend to get some good results when a representative from a company posts on here and Declan is one of the best. He's sorted one or two things out recently.

That's great news Orchid and well done to Declan - my advice - get a memory foam mattress. If I could strap mine to the roof of my car I would take it everywhere with me!![:D]

Thats great news Orchid5. Really pleased for you.Hope you sleep better soon.

Credit due to Declan for sorting it out for you,£500 can make a huge difference when your in a IVA.Once again its nice when something like this can go your way because it does make you feel that its not one sided, and i think it helps both sides get through the IVA better.

Big pat on the back for Declan for sorting it.[:D]

One is blushing significantly here (and a good post to show my wife to be!). Thank you for your kind words Orchid and it was a pleasure to help sort this out for you. At the end of the day common sense prevailed and I know full well how valuable that money is and what it can help you do (memory foam mattress is my recommendation!).

Thanks

That is brilliant news!!

I know a great place for pillows and duvets but looked and they don't do matresses. My matress leaves a lot to be desired and so I bought a matress topper from this website and it is like a new bed. Here is the website in case anyone is interested:
