HI all, I wasn't quite sure where to post this.

I just wanted to say that sometimes DFD seem to have some bad press, but i want to say they have been great with us, and we have received an excellent service. We are now 21 months away from being debt free and we couldnt have done it without our IP. Whenever we have had a problem we have called and it has always been sorted out. The people we have spoke to on the phone have always reassured us,and we have never had to panic/over-worry about anything.

Anyways, I know that Declan from DFD comes on here, so maybe instead of questions/complaints, he can read this compliment.

Claire. x

Skintsabins good post.....it's good for newcomers to be able to get a balanced idea of each of the IP's represented on the site and like everything, sometimes when things are going good we remain quiet yet immediately shout when things go wrong.

21 months away from being debt free eh.....I dream of that day!

Well done and good luck.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

I'm with you on this one. We have been with DFD for 18 months and even despite a few hiccups they have been great. Long may it last (well not too long!!).

Here here - two years in with DFD and no issues what so ever - they called me this week to say my overtime had been received for August and no extra payments were required and at the same time informed me that no further I&E review was due for this year as we completed one in June 2009 - therefore all we are waiting for is our annual report to creditors to be sent to us in a month or so's time - apparently they are a month behind in writing these ! But still - I know the payments stay the same !

my husband and I feel very lucky that we have been able to go through an IVA. We both had individual and joint debts and were really struggling. We thought the only way out was bankruptcy. But then I heard an ad on the radio, and a month later the panic was over and our life was back on track all due to DFD/x

DFD do get some negative comments so it's good to hear the other side for a change, and it's very good that Declan is posting as well.

Good luck with the rest of your IVA Claire, I hope it goes as smoothly x

I can't believe you're 21 months in Caraf! I can remember how nervous you were before your meeting and I was so pleased when your IVA was accepted!

I started my IVA in 2003 and completed early 2 years ago, and in all that time never once had a conversation or any contact with my IP either. It's great to see Declan on this forum now though as things are certainly looking up for DFD.
