I have received yet another letter from inland revenue if i dont pay then they will send a debt collection agency to recover the debt. I have been told by McCambridge Duffy that i dont have to pay this, i have forwarded all the mail on to mcC and still might have to sort this out myself. I think i need a new IVA company who know what they are doing.Peed off is an understatement.[:(!]
If i listened to my Mom and Dad i would not be in the mess i am in now.

It is more likely to be HMRC who don't know what they are doing. When you enter an IVA with HMRC as a creditor your tax affairs for that financial year and any arrears included in the IVA are referred to a specialist unit in Worthing --- who should be dealing with it. Right hand .. left hand .. I think.

My assessment for the year in question just disappeared from my tax dashboard when I went into the IVA, but I haven't heard anything from them about it -- admittedly they aren't asking for any money but I have no idea if they are actually dealing with it -- or I have just slipped down the back of a filing cabinet!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Chas. You do not need to sort this out yourself and I can you assure that we are a professional outfit who know what we are doing. However, we cannot be responsible if HMRC have not updated their records or a debt collection agency sends a letter.
Just forward all correspondence and we will sort it out. Everyone receives the odd letter from creditors from time to time but this does not mean your IVA is in any way compromised or we are in any way incompetent.

As Michael says just contact them and they can deal with it on your behalf. These creditors certainly take their time updating things at times and I'm sure it's a communication issue.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
