Hello all,

I just wanted to register to say a long overdue thank you to all of you who contribute to make this forum the lifeline that it is to so many people.
I entrered into an IVA with my then husband in March 2006, settled with a full and final when we separated and sold the house in Sept 09 and received my completion cert in January 10 [:D]
I have no idea why I didnt post earlier. I think that while I was going through the process, I just needed to keep my head down and plough through it all and not really think about things too much along the way, but I always came to this forum to search for the answers when the inevitable questions arose...and it has never let me down, even if it was just the comfort of knowing that I was far from alone in any situation
It never ceases to amaze me what a fast paced forum this is[:0] and the way people can get almost instant guidance day or night (As a night owl, I love Melanie Giles nocturnal posts[:D])
As the IVA has now dropped off my credit files im going to get the tidying up done on them (using the brillant advice from the Matrix and others[:X]) and hopefully save enough to get the deposit to buy a house on my own in the next year or so...I will contact Ryan on that one[:D]

I will stop waffling now.. but suffice to say that I think you're all fab[;)] as I suspect do many hundreds of others who use this forum without ever posting, to get them through the bad times of their situation and out the other side smiling[:X][:D][:I]
When you reach the end of your rope..tie a knot in it and hang on!

IVA Completed

Thank you for the welcome and the congrats[:)] Yes the last 6 years have been a rollercoaster...but its a world away from the days of not answering the door or the phone and not sleeping at night...and sooo worth it whether you have come through the other side, are part way through or just thinking about starting[;)]

Its never an easy ride being in an IVA and rightly so,but it can be a life changing experience and also a massive life lesson in financial management.

Good luck for the future.

An Iva is a bit of a rollercoaster! But it has transformed my life too...no more feeling sick at the post or the the phone ringing. Can't wait the 'few' more months until I complete! x

Hi Pingu,

The forum and it`s experts and posters are a Godsend aren`t they.

This thread must hold the emoticon record for the forum[:D]
