Hi

Just to let you know that David was voted IP of the year last night at the Insolvency and Rescue awards held in London, my congratulations on a very well deserved award

IVA.co.uk hosted a table and it was lovely to meet Insolvency Practitioner Sam Hawkins [who posts on the forum as an expert], Insolvency Practitioner Liz Pywowarczuk [who has posted in the past] plus the directors from The MoneyPlus Group, Harrington Brooks and Vincent Bond & Co[who had been shortlisted for Debt Management company of the year] We also had Sam Nurse from Grant Thornton and Philip Gill from Philip Gill and Co.

A great evening

Regards
Andam Davies

Heretoday has his own views, to which he is entitled, and of course they are extremely well documented on here. I have purposely avoided comment on the issues he has, and indeed I don't intend to now, save to say that the nature of a public forum is that bad press, or perceived bad press, will attract more headlines than good news.

I personally can't see the point of attempting to hijack a thread for your own ends, but such is life. I will say this though, and I accept that I am biased, but I have never seen such a focused, hard working, driven man as David Mond. He is regularly in the office at 5 30am or before, and you rarely see him leave before 8pm. I have personal experience of his work ethic at weekends as well, fielding many calls on my mobile regarding cases, and even far more e mails.

David has always acted in the best interests of his clients, without fail, whilst also driving the profession as a whole forward to embrace the very highest standards. If that means that he is occasionally there to be shot at, then so be it. I haven't seen him lose many battles, if any.

One of the most well deserved awards I have seen in many a long year, and mere mortals like myself can only aspire to his passion and dedication.

Regards.

Hi Mike, you are indeed biased towards your employer.
I would also acknowledge that as a disgruntled “customer” that my views are at the other end of the spectrum to yours.

I have been told by many that David has indeed contributed greatly to the insolvency profession for the benefit of both the professionals and the debtors alike, and I do not doubt this.

However the way that I have personally been treated by David is in my view disgusting! For David to be awarded IP of the year is a kick in the teeth for me and others in my position (and there are quite a few of us)!

I take exception to your statement that “David has always acted in the best interests of his clients” That may be true for many but certainly not for all of them.

I would prefer to never have to think about let alone post about David Mond, but until he issues that long overdue completion certificate; he will unfortunately remain in my thoughts!

I do not have a problem with you Mike and I can see that you have been a healthy contributor to this site for a number of years.

Regards

Perspective is everything, I accept that, and your perspective differs from mine when applied to your own individual case.

Again, whilst I am aware of information that cannot be disclosed on here, it would be quite wrong to go into specifics of your own case without your express and public agreement to do so. In essence, you are free to fire as many bullets as you like without fear of any recourse.

Perhaps we should agree to disagree and leave it there until the matter is resolved.

Regards.

Mike, I agree to disagree with you, but the ball is in David’s court and only he or time (running out of legal extensions) will resolve this.

As far as information that you “are aware of” I believe that me speaking to my creditors and single premium PPI insurance have been discussed and is irrelevant.

Heretoday --I appreciate that your experience of late has been far from positive, from your point of view, however it is bad form to hi-jack others threads for a personal crusade.

Yes, threads go off on a tangent now and then, that is the nature of an organic forum, but, please, don't keep doing it.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
