If you do need another account try Nationwide, the Co-op, Barclays or Abbey. They all do basic accounts that are available to bankrupts, so should be available to anyone in an IVA.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

John so an extra 50p wouldnt be much of an increase with thinkbanking. I know tyou can open the ac over the phone so at least you have a definate option if natwest close.

your credir rating will be affected in an iva you are not allowed to borrow or have credit for the duration of the iva. Saying that, if you need an iva your credit rating is probably already affected. If you are haiving difficulty you are amongst thousands it's not just you but it does need sorting do it now and stop the sleepless nights and worries about who is knocking at the door!! take the advice stick to it and you'll be fine if you are granted an iva it's like winning the lotetry in my mind as opposed to bankrupcy wow GOOD LUCK
