Hello all, I just wanted to thank everyone for their input to this forum, - I haven't posted before, but have been lurking for some time and have found this a really useful resource to find answers to the many questions I had about IVA's.
I've got my creditors meeting this afternoon, and keeping my fingers crossed that my proposal is approved - I've been amazed at how fast the process has all happened, - it's only been about 5 weeks since I made first contact the company I chose to use!
I'll post back later on with the outcome, my debts are (approx):
Co-op Bank: £400
Bank of Scotland: £650
HBOS: £4,500
HBOS: £11,000
HBOS: £3,200
MBNA: £4,500
Student Loans Co: £7,500
Total: Roughly £31,500
I have a forcast dividend of 36p/£, which I'm hoping will be enough for TIX who I figure are going to be the most important voter as they'll be representing over 50% of my liabilities.
Good luck with your meeting and look forward to reading a positive post later.
Hope you keep posting afterwards so we know how things are going and you will always get excellent support on here.

Hey Guys, - thanks for all the messages of support! Got a call from my IP at about 16:00 - my IVA's been approved! All my creditors voted for it, with the exception of the Student Loans Comapny, - which, to be honest was a bit hairy because I owed a little over 23% of my debt to them. There were a few variations, though most of them don't really affect me, - the only one that affected me is that I have been asked to enquire whether I can look into opting out of my works pension scheme to free up some extra monthly funds, - I'm going to look into that tomorrow.
