hi, my IVA creditor meeting was set for 11 am today, 21/8. I had not heard anything from IP so at 12pm I messaged them, they have got back to me and advised that they are still waiting on all votes to come in and will update me on the outcome this afternoon.
does this indicate that the IVA will be rejected? I thought all votes needed to be in for the set time of the meeting, which was 11am?
Some firms do this as a matter of course, some ... I won't say 'lie', but, get inventive about reasons for delays, rather than say gone to lunch .... In some cases, if the vote isn't looking favourable they will chase other creditors to swing it .... could be many reasons. Hang in there.

Does that mean when I have my CM meeting on the 2nd sept that I may also have to wait? I was given the impression that I would get a reply back on the 2nd... is that not the case ?

You usually get the results within an hour or two. Some firms ( CF noteably) mess around a bit more than most, but you should know on the day.
