Fantastic news today when I came home from work: creditors meeting on 18/01 at 10.30 and 10.45!
First contact with Melanies office on 29 October, everything went very smooth and I cant thank Melanie and her team enough for preparing our proposals. They have been fantastic from the start. To have this forum is a blessing,so a big thank you to you all too. Lets hope is good news on 18/01!

That was sent way before Christmas. I just don't believe how slow the post is these days. I could have walked the proposal to you in less time!

Hi

Like you, I first spoke to Melanie's office (Tina) on 29th October and we had our IVA's accepted yesterday (4th Jan), so wishing you all the very best of luck with your proposals. You are definitely in the best hands with Mel and her team so am sure things will go your way - ours got approved with no amendments to our payments and I am still deliriously happy! It seems strange to be so happy about being in an IVA but I know it is the only way we can get our family back on track and debt free in a reasonable timeframe. Try to keep calm until your meeting (although I didn't!) and I suggest you take the morning/day off work as I was a wreck until I received the call to say they had been accepted and was then very tearful for the rest of the day and would have been completely useless if I had been at work. Good luck to you and look forward to seeing your good news post.

Hopefully we will get the signed proposals back soon so we can get the creditors meetings called. Cannot believe how slow the post is at this time of year. Grrrr!

Thank you everyone!
esgt1967 thanks for your kind words. We are indeed with a fantastic team and im feeling very positive about the creditors meeting. I am going to be off work on the day of the meeting and I will be waiting for that important call. Like you I know an IVA is the only way forward.I wish you all the best on your debt free journey esgt1967.

Good luck to you both Johndylan and Spanna. I am sure Melanie will be calling your creditors meeting very soon.

Hi Lulu123,

Got home today and had the date for our creditors meeting.
Mine at 10.30 on the 23rd January and my wifes at 11.00.

Still not clear though on voting and joint debts.

Thanks to Mel and her team for all their work to date.
