Creditors Meeting set for 12th October @3.30! Feels like ages to wait, I'm going to be bag of nerves, I just know they wont accept it because we are only offering 19p in the £ for our individual debts and 38p in the £ for joint debts. Northern Rock are our main creditor for both AND we all know what they are like!! I feel like a massive weight is hanging over us, I wish they could do it sooner, this process is such a drag :-(

Hi Mrs Moody, your IP is putting forward your best offer, feel confident in them, I know it's easy for me to say but I have been in your position. I didn't have NR as one of my creditors so can't comment but I know other posters did and were successful in their IVA proposal. I sincerely wish you luck for the 12th and hope it gets you on the debt free road.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Good Luck Mrs Moody, your date will soon come around, our meeting is tomor 12 noon & 12.15,, our dividend is only a little higher than yours but it is our best offer,, our alternative is BR which does scare me a little. Will see what tommorow brings, its been a good week so far with my Sons birthday on Monday & my wifes birthday yesterday,, lets hope we can have a yes vote to our IVA,,& begin our journey to debt freedom,, it will be a positive turning point in our lives.
Kind Regards, MP

IVA accepted 1st October 2009

Must be a good omen then Melanie, we dont want any bad news on here on your birthday!
Will keep fingers crossed for you tomorrow mikepappa, be interested to hear know how you get on. Pog, we can keep everything crossed for each other in the time running up to our meetings, do you have a back up plan, I'm not very positive so we are going to set up DMP if else fails!

DMP will not be an option as it would take 19yrs to repay the debt! so we will have to go BR which fills me with dred as would not go down well at work and the gossip would be rife but hey we are fit healthy have three gorgeous kids and I am sure we will get through it if we must. We have both taken the day off work and Tuesday can't come soon enough......I just want to know now x
Gosh.....life is so much easier!

Northern Rock were one of our main creditors with 30k and they were in favour straight away. Egg were the ones kicking up a bit of a fuss.

With a few modifications, extra year, slightly higher payments etc. they all agreed

Northern Rock arent as bad as i thought they would be!!
