Hi,

Creditfix have sent me 2 letters now stating that my IVA from PJG is in arrears. Firstly it shouldn't be and secondly they're threatening bankruptcy if I don't contact them within 7 days.

I've contacted them on the phone multiple times and it just rings and secondly I've emailed them multiple times and zero response.

Really concerned with what's going to happen...

This sounds awful :(
I had to stay on the phone for at least 10 minutes and the best time to ring was about quart to 5 in the evening that's when I managed to get through they were pleasant although not helpful as it was just a girl from customer services that couldn't help me anyway.
We have also had an annual report copy that says we are in arrears this shouldn't be for us either.
Maybe try emailing with URGENT COMPLAINT as the subject? Have you tried this email address jaimie.mooney@creditfixme.co.uk

I'm sorry I don't have more advice, hopefully somebody knowledgeable will be along shortly.
Debt free after a successful f&f :)

I think the most annoying thing is that the letters which have been sent twice say:

We've been trying to contact you and been unable to! That's impossible landline and both mobiles have been given... grrrr really still ticked at PJG and Melanie feel like they've sold us out.

Hi I haven't had a response to a query either buy yours is obviously more important! Someone on here actually emailed the Ip direct and got a response perhaps you could do that? I'm not sure how to find her contact details but I think it's Susan wrigglesworth? I will try and find the subject for you

What do you mean set one up with PJG. I've been with them for 3 years and they've passed all their clients onto CreditFix... Don't think you do an IVA through PJG anymore.

I think I'm going to get the FSA involved because there doesn't seem to be anything to protect clients when this sort of things happen. It would only take them to look at this forum to see the 1000s of problems Melanie and her crew have caused. In fact I'm surprised she's still classed as an expert on here. She needs to be removed...

Bob, with respect, your opinion is based upon no knowledge of the facts behind the transfer to PJG. Nothing untoward has been done, albeit it was unwelcome.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Bobds62 what I meant was I have also been transfered to this clearly unfit for purpose business when PJG was just brilliant and as they are still trading and taking on iva clients I was wondering if my backwards thinking would benefit me at all.

With respect Foggy, they shouldn't have harped on about it being a similar sort of company and that they wouldn't have gone for a company that would cause problems...

Go read the 1000s of posts about that not being true. Clients need to be protected and the FSA should have jumped in to stop that happening. Especially seen as PJG are still taking clients. It's all about lining somebodies pocket.

There do seem to be problems but it is unfair to blame Melanie. She did her best to find a reputable firm to take on her client list and she is distressed that this has not gone as smoothly as she believed.

Melanie will still take cases on which do not lose her money but she could not be expected to work for at best nothing and at worst a loss. The main issue is the squeezing of fees which is forcing small players to get out of the market leaving everything for the larger firms. Unless this is addressed there will be many more instances such as PJGs sale and also many IPs just refusing to take on the work.

I think the worry for me is I'm at risk of my IVA failing because of the change.

It's not acceptable and something should have been done to protect the clients.

I've spoken directly to Mel in the past and she doesn't strike me as the most compassionate of people. I find the idea of her being distressed hard to believe!

Mel is compassionate, brilliant at her job and supportive! If she wasn't none of us would give a fig about being transferred, silly and frankly useless comments will not change a thing

Bobds62's comments are not silly and useless, I'm sure anybody who has worked hard to maintain their IVA and then out of the blue gets a poorly worded letter that states you owe money and failure to pay will see your IVA fail (classic debt collectors letter) must cause un due stress ! I would and most other peeps on this forum would get annoyed and possibly react the same. But this could all be sorted with prompt robust communication from CF.... Cut bob a little slack guys. We all know its not Mel's fault.
