Hi,
I've recently completed my IVA and received chairman's report, payment schedule and closure letter.
Just wondering how long until you received your completion certificates?
Was this via email or post?
Thanks

The completion certificate should be with the final report and closure letter --- it is not, as you would expect, some impressive certificate, but, more likely, a sheet of A4 with a simple statement citing that the IVA is complete and that the supervisor is no longer in post as such -- just a couple of sentences, signed by the supervisor.
It will look like this:
Insolvency Act 1986
In the matter of xxxxx & xxxxx
I, Mark Allen of Grant Thornton, Water's Edge, Clarendon Dock, Belfast BT1 3BH, Chartered
Accountant, the Supervisor of the aforementioned voluntary arrangements give notice pursuant to
Rule 5.34(2) of the Insolvency Rules 1986 that my duties are complete and that the arrangements
have been fully implemented.
Mark Allen
Dated this xxxxxx
The credit reference agencies have been known to act on sight of the completion certificate, but they are supposed to wait until the Insolvency Service inform them. There is no real rush as the IVA, even if shown as completed, will be enough of a stain on the records to crush your credit score. It will not be removed until the 6th anniversary of the IVA start date at the earliest.
My CC was delivered by email, with the hard copy following in the post.

Great thanks,
Re-reading, I perhaps have the chairman's report regarding the variation meeting where settlement was agreed and letter regarding closure as opposed to a closure letter.
Do you have an idea of the timescale from settlement to receiving the CC been quoted 3 weeks?
Is this about right?

Some firms take up to 6 months, 3 months being the norm, but CF is one of the faster ones.

Hi, I made my last payment with creditfix on 30th Sept 2021 - it took them just over 6 months to send me a letter to say I had made my last payment and that I would have my cc within 6 months. Now they are saying one of my creditors hasn't submitted their claim yet but they are certain I will have the cc by the end of the month! (Oct 2022)
I have heard such mixed reviews about creditfix, I just hope this is resolved soon. I will let you all know if I hear from them soon. Although I won't be letting them keep me waiting much longer.
