My IVA started on 26/03/2013 and completed on 04/07/2016 by F&F offer. Also I have received my completion certificate with in a week of completion. Do i know how long will normally take creditors for update their own record? as i noticed very few of my creditors updated their record (2 creditors updated out of 12 creditors) in my credit file. All ready IVA discharged from my credit file and hopefully my name will be disappear from insolvency register by 2 month. Do i need to wait another few weeks or i can start credit repairing now? Can i send data controller for update my default date? I have checked my credit file in Call credit , Equifax and Experian some of CRE are correct dated default and some of are incorrect.

Hi, no significant change will occur until the 6th anniversary of your IVA - 25/03/19 when the IVA will be removed from your credit files. Creditors will update your file to reflect IVA completion or satisfied and various accounts as "satisfied" but until the 6th anniversary you won't be able to obtain mainstream finance etc. Despite settling early, thus is often misunderstood. You can send letters to ensure all default dates are correct ( I did this) And will ensure they should all drop off your file on 6th year anniversary.

It is up to three months for the register once they receive a copy of the completion from the IP.
You can start to repair your record by checking if any defaults have been registered since the date of the original IVA. The IVA will remain on your credit record for the full six years regardless.

It takes up to 3 months to come off the register from the date of your CC so keep checking here:

You can probably count on it happening at most once a month, or at least every 45 days, but the exact date varies by lender. don't require that all lenders submit their information by a certain time each month.
