Hi Star2

There are a few of these cards availble, i currently have a cashplus card which charged £4.99 a month and a £ per transaction, but rates vary between different cards. If you shop around for pre paid credits cards (on the Net) and choose what best suits your needs. I only want mine to purchase car insurance, tax etc.

There will be other members shortly that can also offer advice on these cards.

(I apologise for my keyboards poor spelling and grammar)

Hi,

There are quite a few cards available like this now. If you want one that works just like a credit card (i.e. Visa or Mastercard) then I would recommend the cashplus goldcard (google this).

Bear in mind though it costs £5 per month even if you don't use it so that's £60 a year for the privilage of spending your own money!

Also if you want to draw cash from the card you get charged (2% to 3%).

You'll have to balance the convenience of having one with paying for it. I stopped having any credit cards 3 months ago and haven't missed them at all up to now.

Hope this helps.
