Hi,
I completed my IVA in June 15, so 5 months until it should be off my record.

I currently have a Vanquis credit card which started with a £500 limit. I use it regularly and always pay it off at the end of each month. My limit has recently been increased to £1000.

Does anyone know when I should be able to successfully apply for a high street bank credit card?

I suggest that your best course of action is to wait until your record is clear totally and then apply.

I agree, make sure all your credit files are sparkingly clean and tidy and then apply. I did that and now have one with my bank at a very good rate.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
