Maybe like my husband he uses it in his workplace and has offcuts and stripped wires etc., and it can be weighed in. My hubby's employer allows this, he never accumulates enough to weigh in yet but he's trying, the plumbers/electricians do though. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thank you Lesley,i do have off cuts in my workplace.
Kallis3 and nepensioner be careful what remarks you make?
I come on this forum from time to time to ask advice and discuss problems, not to be accused of wrong doing by faceless dogooders?
How dare you try to associate my question with law breaking.
If this is the sort of ignorant people getting on here then it is a real shame for the forum.
Dont try justifying your comments with some witty remark either.

Whoa. DMB. We are all "friends" here. I am sure no malice was intended.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Steady on DMB - A few off the cuff remarks like some of those above shouldn't be taken in the wrong way. I think that it was quite an inappropriate question for this website to be fair, the answer to which could be found just by 'googling' the question anyway!

It was a question on a forum which i have used previously for advice on making extra money and i would have thought that asking Friends for any help with matters of a financial kind would be exactly the sort of question for this website??

You are right DMB -- we do ask each other all sorts of questions on here, not only IVA / BR type stuff. However, we also enjoy a bit of banter.

I admit that, with the written word alone, it is often all too easy to "get the wrong end of the stick" and I will also admit to being seconds away from making my own frivolous comment on copper sourcing.

As I said, we are all friends here and any comments were meant in a light hearted way.

Maybe i read something into it that wasnt really meant??
If so,then fair enough.
I love a bit of banter too,but perhaps as i am not a regular on here its difficult to judge peoples remarks for what they are?
Or perhaps i am just having a bad day and i shouldnt be getting involved?
Pelder if the answers are all on google why are you on this forum?

MRBLUESKY i agree, i dont know them and they dont know me and i accept it is probably an over reaction by me.
We cant all be perfect all the time and when you are feeling down maybe you read things into something which isnt there?
Can i just state that i am a law abiding citizen, but not very good with money!!

No malice was ever intended and never would be. We were just curious as to why you would want to know the price of copper.
