Bailo - talking to Mel or one of her team prior to pressing the button and going ahead as things stand could be the wisest decision you make. And having spoken to Mel myself, I feel confident enough to say that if she really believes that your best option is to go forward with GT, she would tell you that herself.

I cannot agree more that by talking to Melanie and maybe one other company will be beneficial before you proceed further.

all the best and I trust you will find the right solution very soon. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'd be happy to chat things through with you Bailo - simply if you just want a second opinion or feel that you need anything explained in greater depth. You are with a good firm, but it is important that you fully understand all of the terms of the proposed IVA before committing.

At some point you will if you continue with her company but the rest of her staff are brilliant and will really help you.

I am concerned that you have not been advised to change your bank account.... from your post it reads that you are still banking with Lloyds, which will become one of your IVA creditors... surely this will allow them to access your funds as soon as your wages are paid into the bank.

Hi Bailo

I just wanted to let you know that Mel is out of the office today but she always makes to time to have a chat with clients even if this is outside office hours.

You will get to speak with her personally for sure :-)

Thanks KayKay
Just before reading your post I have emailed my personnel manager with my new accoutn details for my next pay day. So fingers crossed.... We have a new account set up with Natwest without an overdraft but it is not a basic account, it has benefits....is this ok?

This should be ok, but you must satisfy yourslef that NatWest are not linked to any of your creditors. If this is the case then you should be fine. I am afraid I don't know which banks are linked to each other, but some of the posters on here do, so I hope they can help put your mind at rest.

Hi Bailo, if you call our website number I am normally the first person you will speak with. Of course I can arrange for you to speak with Melanie personally and this would happen as part of the ongoing process anyway. All our clients seem to be very happy after I have had a chat with them so please feel free to call if you would like to.
