A query for kentgirl.... my last payment is due on Friday. C/ fix has not been in contact to confirm this so I'm going to get in touch with them next week. Did your company get in touch with you when your last one was due??

Thanks Linrog, it has been a long road but I made it!

Benjiboo, my Iva was completed in the sixth year with a F&F so my last payment was a little different to yours. I would say call your IP to check that this is your last payment. They can advise what happens next.

I always advise calling --- a lot of firms just seem to forget you at the end -- especially the larger ones. They go off and do their admin, forgetting a real person is hanging on for the outcome.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Thanks foggy & kentgirl. I know everyone is different so waiting till payment goes then will contact them my worry is I never got asked for a house valuation. Although I owe what house is worth so no equity. So I have paid 5 years. It won't be the end of the world if I've to pay another year, I've got so far.. think its the not knowing.

Yes, not knowing is always worse. It's much better to know where you stand. Let us know how you get on.
