Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

Tina -- great post :-)

Don't spend £50k on an Atom -- get an MEV Rocket -- turnkey for around £20k or build one yourself for around £8k :-)
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Wow!!! Well done you! this really does give me hope! I will have had my IVA for two years this April and 5yrs seems a long way away......... In that time my fixed rate on my current mortgage will end too so I'm just HOPING that the new variable rate I get will be much better than the current fixed rate I'm on! Here's crossing fingers!

Great to hear. I am also with PayPlan. Approaching month 60, remortage bid refused, additional 12 months built into IVA and commencing without the need for a final creditors meeting. I feel as if I am in the final stretch leading back to a normal life. Generally, PayPlan have been really good.

A positive post TonyF for payplan and it's always nice to read these. You are on the final stretch and I sincerely hope this goes smoothly for you. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

[:)]Well done, Just seams that we are the only ones on here who have had our iva extended to 7 years (84 payments) for not having enough equity in our house price. If ours would have only been extended by one year it would have been finished in September. Well only another 8 payments to run plus 50% of any overtime.
Dave
ALL DONE!!! Received Final CC today Final payment 18 August 2013 CC 06 October 2015 Thanks to CLEAR DEPT you've been Great!!! :D

Congratulations SometimesTina.

My dream car is one I don't need to dismantle and re-assemble every 4 weeks.

Can't wait to be out of the IVA, knowing that I've paid back all we can.

@No More Cards24 - Looks like our IVA is a 7 year one as well, with hopefully 12 more payments in lieu of an equity release, I can almost taste freedom. [:)]
I get knocked down, but I get up again. They ain't never gonna keep me down.

Well Done and Well Deserved anyone coming to the end of their IVA will know how hard it is with the budgeting the awkward hotel moments with no credit cards and avoiding going away with work for the very same reason.

Anyway Tina I have completed my IVA and awaiting the IVA to drop off my credit file as I want to buy an house. How were the HSBC with you when you mentioned your IVA and did you do it face to face or in a meeting with a morgage advisor??
