Hi Jilly. Firstly - ditto your comments about little April. It does put things into perspective when such unimaginable things like this happen. Please never apologize for 'being real', nor should you feel the need to minimize it, as everyone's pain is there own. I just really appreciate and respect the fact that you have posted again to let us know how things are. I hope you get a confirmed date soon, and that in the meantime, you can try and take the time to re-energize yourself in ways that strengthen you as you move towards a different stage in your life. Be blessed. x

Jilly - What part of the UK are you in? I only ask because I get the feeling that there are people on here who will willingly and happily meet you and have a coffee and a natter and be somebody you can lean on for support. The hardest thing is asking for it, but if you can bring yourself to, somebody from here will meet up, and would discuss whatever you wanted to discuss, money, IVA's, what pigs men are (we are)...anything.
You deserve some support through what are undoubtedly hard times, but you also deserve some absolute re assurance that you will come through it and there are brighter days ahead. Trust me, there are x
This thread is so hearwarming, and goes to show the absolute might of this forum to play such a huge part in helping people to deal with coping with all forms of stress - and not just that which is created by unaffordable debt. I do hope that Jilly keeps in touch with us all, and that we can play some small part in holding your hand along the way - both professionally, but more importantly through the hand of friendship and support.
I quoted the wrong post Niobe...I meant to quote Orange's post about somebody meeting Jilly.
In answer to your question though, maybe at some time it would be good. I'd probably want to know one or two people first though, so that I wouldnt end up doing a Jona Lewie impersonation.
Morning Jilly. Just checking in with you to say that I hope this will be a better week for you, and the ball starts rolling towards getting the answers you need. I receive daily quotes via email called "Daily Inspiration", and I just wanted to gift one to you today:
Quote of the Day
"Touch a thistle timidly, and it pricks you; grasp it boldly, and its spines crumble."
– Fleet Admiral William Frederick Halsey, Jr.

I have just read this and apologise that I don’t get on the forum as much as I’d like recently (looking after my dad who is very ill).
I am in the North East and if you want to talk to someone any time or meet up I’d be more than happy to have a natter and a coffee. You can request my email details from admin on this forum and contact me if you feel like it.
I am in the North East.
Please don’t feel that you are on your own, things will get brighter they have to because they can't get any worse.
Prior to my IVA, I remember feeling so poorly, showing all kinds of different symptoms, most of which I now put down to a prolonged build up of stress and anxiety which, eventually culminated in me driving past my home one night and stopping short of a cliff on a beach some distance from my home. I am pleased to say I lived another day and things did eventually get better.
Hang in there Jilly and please keep in touch. There are so many people on here who care about you and who are routing for you, myself included.
need to smile today? go on check out my blogs - I'll add to them regularly
