Strange, I applied for the Vanquis and it said they were unable to give me an instant decision and would be in touch.

You probably only get a instant decision if your credit file is clean.

Sounds like it's another no then. I am just getting so despondent.

I think it happens often - I'm sure a poster was referred recently and was then approved.

Fingers crossed!

There is always hope if it has not been rejected straight away as often it has gone to a credit assessor to make a decision.

I just checked my Credit Expert report. They haven't even put the search through yet, that is possibly why they couldn't give the decision. Their offices are actually closed now for the weekend.

On the plus side, I notice that Clydesdale's two entries are now marked as satisfied. Now I just have to make them change the default dates.

The only two accounts not showing as satisfied now are NatWest credit card (apparently that will be done at the end of the month) and Credit Account Management, and that account is a duplicate entry, they will be receiving one of inaiva's template letters!

Also receiving an "Inaiva special" will be NatWest current account and NatWest loan who need to change their *!£%*^% default dates too!

It certainly would be good to know - hopefully they do work inaiva.

Do you think you should change your user name now?

I think you're right, I'll request one now, should I use the contact us for this as the option is greyed out in edit profile.

Try that - hopefully you will still be able to log on with your normal password.

Brilliant - glad it worked!

The trilogy is one I really love and, sad person that I am, I was nearly word perfect on the original (although not watched it for a while) but reckon I could still come out with some of the lines still!
