Just logged on to check my balance and the Co-op home page has a message saying this year 79% more people have swapped to them than last year. Think this is all down to us? Feel like asking for some commission to share out. lol.

Ah yes - didn't think of that!! Good for them though! proves it pays to be open to all types of customers and not greedy like some of the biggies.

I was really happy with my Co op account and the only reason I don't use it is that I've got a full pre-BR Nationwide account and it seemed silly not to use it. I actually prefer the Co op to Nationwide and when my BR dropped off my credit file I might try for a full account with them.

I like Nationwide since they issued a debit card with the cashminder. I still like Barclays though and will probably swap back to that when the IVA finishes.

The only reason I don't like Nationwide is because our local branch only has 2 counters and the queue stretches back to the door on Saturdays! I preferred being able to use the Post Office with the Co op.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was about chickens?
