Had a letter today telling me my IVA will be transfered from clearstart to debt free direct also along with a change of supervisor.
They said nothing will change fromk my agreement but thats not what is worrying me as i haveheard a lot of bad reports about Debt Free Direct, also when i first sought help with my debts DFD were the people who said i would not qualify for an IVA yet when I contacted Clearstart everything went through no problem.
What does everyone else think ?

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you, given that for some months now DFD have actually owned Clearstart. It's just continuation of the consolidation process that seems to be going on amongst the big boys.

Given I understand CS is closing, I think it will only be a question of time before you do.

We are with DFD and they have been brilliant to date! Always on the end of the phone and email and respond very quickly to any questions we may have.

They have also been reasonable in us paying additional monies over and have taken into account cost of living rises etc.

Never spoken to my IP - there office staff have been great and always updated you on things when you need to know

Think positive - 8 down 52 to go.....yippee!!!!

The Clearstart portfolio is quite large, and it probably takes a little while to get round all of the letters.
