My uncle used to take me to a pantomime every year but there's no way I could go now as I couldn't stand all the screaming children! [:D]

Thankfully Dave's a 'hands off' granddad (long story) so we don't do things like that and even if he wanted to he'd be on his own! [:D]

I'd keep you company if I lived closer Skip!

I don't do screaming kids at all and hubby isn't really a hands on grandad either - we rarely see them. Suits me!!!!!

It's handy they don't live local to be honest as it saves any awkward baby sitting questions! A one bed house also helps!

I don't know if it's because I had my girls young and am a fairly "young" nan, but I love the fun and being silly with the gilrs. Maybe I should grow up [:I]

I love my grandchildren to death. I've had the most wonderful news ever this weekend, the grandtwins that were due to go to Cyrpus aren't going for definite! Mummy is getting remarried and they're being posted in the UK!! I am so happy.

My 7 year old granddaughter may as well live her to be honest and tonight I've sat on the sofa and she's plaited my hair, put it in bunches etc., and even clipped my fringe back, I enjoyed it really once she'd learnt you didn't dig hair grips into the scalp!

I used to take her to the pantomine but she goes with the school now so will have to wait for the others to get older. x

Saw that on FB Lesley and it's brilliant news for you. I'm really pleased as I know how much you were dreading them going.

You must be so relieved Lesley, I would dread not seeing my grandson,
