Just a heads up for those that use Tesco, double points is ending oct 24 i think is the date.

Its part of the great price drop, also they have reinstated the x4 on selected other deals used online.

Don't normally post about work but thought heads up would help others.

TBH looking round the shop, the price drop is a big thing, there was a comparism in the daily mail at £36 shop of normal stuff was the Asda Price, £39 JS and £24 at Tesco, should make a difference to us penny pinchers!

Sorry, I don't trust Tesco one little bit - if they are reducing some prices I'm sure others will go up!

I haven't seen the comparison article but I found another one and to be honest I wouldn't use a lot of the stuff - probably the only thing I would buy is potatoes!

Unfortunatley I won't be able to take advantage of the offers unless I travel 17/18 miles as we don't have a tesco.

Ours is closer than that but it's not as convenient as Sainsburys, and it's a horrible shop in comparison!

Hahha tesco price drop my eye!!

The have reduced macaroni pasta(the dry stuff),in one size of packet.

And the smaller size of packet still costs less per KG!!!!!!

RIP OFF

And has anyone else spotted the sneaky way that many things have reduced in size, for example a 385g block of cheese(pilgrims choice),is now only 350g. Its clearly marked but if you dont look at the weight you think its good that the price hasnt changed!!

All the supermarkets are doing that though Paul - however there are some good savings to be had - just got some myself today.

I am also glad they are bringing back their x 4 offer as I wil use this for entrance fees to theme parks etc when the kids come to stay next year
