Hi. I'm just coming up to my third year evaluation(3 years payed, about to enter my 4th) and I'm worried that I hav'nt told my IVA company that I got married almost a year ago and moved into rented accomadation with my wife. Even though at that time we had a joint income, I had no more disposeable income oweing to paying more rent and housekeeping bills etc than I had when I was a single man. We managed to keep ourselfs afloat until my wife was recently made unemployed and decided to open her own buisness. As of yet, she has no real income and I am finding myself paying all the bills and it has got to the stage where there is more money going out than coming in, leaving me in a similar state to what I was before I entered the IVA. If I ask my IVA company to reduce my payments, will they see it as breach of the IVA for not telling them earlier of my change of circumstances?

I would contact your IP straight away. We all make mistakes and it is possible that your IP might be able to call a variation meeting based on your new income and expenditure. Speak to your IP and be honest with them - it would be a shame for your IVA to fail this far in.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi
Talk with your IP as they will want to agree a way forward. As your circumstances seemed to have changed since your last review I don,t think that you will be in too much trouble.
Your creditors and IP want your IVA to succeed.
