After finding myself on the insolvency register there are many people I know of locally also on there.

I have just accepted it is one of those things and will happen to anybody.

I acted for a very famous sportsman, and he was a lovely client to work with. Fortunately we managed to get an informal deal done with creditors, thus avoiding the need for an IVA. The ladies of my office had their tongues hanging out every time he came in for meetings - but of course I kept him all to myself!!

It was in the news a few years ago that Neil Morrissey was in an IVA. x
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

I was accepted 6 weeks ago, and I've not made it onto the register yet, no doubt they'll catch up with me eventually [:D]
Final payment 1st April 2016.
Completion Certificate received 19th May 2016.

I hate that the register is available for all to see. I Think it should be limited to who can view these things :(

I agree - I think you should have to pay to access it, that would put 99% of people off, for a start.

Djemba Djemba so good they named him twice! he was a football player for Man Utd, sort of mid term player not great, did a short spell at villa, but we got rid fairly quickly.

Not being a fan I wouldn't have a clue but I imagine that there would have been some sort of restriction placed on him at some point.
