Hi

My husband has a ccj which is due to drop of in July but he still has £4000 left which will hopefully be paid off in March. Will we get another ccj for 6 years or are they only allowed to do it once. We have some defaults that are due to drop of again with some balances left are they allowed to default again.

Many Thanks

Hi

The CCJ will only appear once based on the date of the original judgement. This will disappear from his register irrespective of whether any of the debt is still outstanding. The same should apply to the defaults unless you default on agreements again.
