I think CCCS are worried that people will inflate their figures and go for the top amount.
I've always said that you should put down exactly what you spend and leave it to the IP to sort out.

But if people put over what they are allowed it gets knocked back anyway. In my opinion its more often the case that people dont claim enough and end up struggling with making their payments into the IVA.

on the other hand if these figures are available it would surley give a good indication of what being in a iva entailed.
i know i would have liked somekind of idea what i was going to be in for if i knew, but there you go.
do all the ips use the same guidlines mel or do you just put down your idea of what each case should be entitled to depending on circumstances?
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards
A very good point back on track,by the time many know whats allowed in an IVA they have perhaps already stopped paying creditors and then realise how rigid the budget may be.

I used to have them on my website but was told by CCCS to take them off. I use them because I prefer them to the Common Financial Statement which are the alternative figures used.
I had no idea about guidelines when I did mine. I just put down what we spent and it was never queried.

Clearly the fact that you had them on your site, means that you would see them as useful to people thinking about or in an IVA. Do CCCS have the power to order you around like that Mel??
