We are closing the cases and not requesting any further payments and waiting for the issues to be resolved so that we can then move forward and have the completion certificate sent to the client.
Many Thanks

Hi Gemma, are your clients being released from windfall obligations whilst awaiting the certificate (which could still be some time off) ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I had this discussion with the IP's last week and as far as we are concerned the clients have fulfilled the terms of their IVA and we wouldn't want any part of any windfalls.
Many Thanks

Thank you Gemma. That's good to know. I am sure Payplan clients will take some comfort from that.

So you are not actually closing cases - merely advising your clients that their obligations under their IVAs have concluded? Are you waiting for the Paymex refunds before formally closing?

Hi Gemma, Has Payplan actually started closing cases yet ?
As I have just made my final payment, I know they normally take on average 2 to 3 months but as mine was a. Pretty straight forward IVA ( No house etc) I wondered if they where moving again. I read one post on here where somebody got their certificate in 4 days that would be fantastic :- )...Hey ho can dream.

Thanks Phil

I believe that HMRC are finally issuing payments to IP's so hopefully you will be able to get closure fairly shortly after your final payment.

I know it seems a bit naughty asking this as I have only just finished mine and others on here have been waiting months but apart from from a few close calls my IVA journey has been smooth, just hope the official finishing line is just the same. Thanks Kallis that is good to hear.
Thanks Phil

Yes it is however just at the same time I have been quoted £400 to get my car through the Mot so that's brought me down to earth with a bang :-( However on the bright side no panic as now I can fit it in with out the worry of debt. Thanks

Hi Phil, I believe that we are closing cases. It may be best to speak to your case officer who will be able to give you a more specific answer.
Congratulations on coming to the end of your IVA :)
Many Thanks
