Thank you for all of your welcomes Nick is still with Payplan and will still post on the forum, however he has a lot of commitments and feels he cannot give enough time to the forum. I am sure he will pop back now and again to help me out!
Many Thanks

We are closing clients cases and sending them confirmation, however we have to wait a while before we can send them their completion certificate due to certain issues being unresolved.
Many Thanks

How are you closing cases without issuing the Completion Certificate Gemma? Surely the case cannot be closed and the Registrar notified without the Certificate being issued?
The client has met the terms of the IVA in the eyes of there IP and creditors and it is unfair to keep them open while the issue is fully resolved. We are sending on certificates as soon as we can.
Many Thanks

Hi Gemma and welcome from me too. You are being thrown a bit into the lion's den as Payplan have been gettimng a bit of stick lately so very best of luck.
I hope we can all work together but ideally I would like someone to nail the myth that the 'free' or 'charity' sector provides better quality advice than the professional sector.
Sorry Gemma but I still don't understand. Am I correct in thinking that Payplan are:-
1 Filing a final report with the Registrar and Court, copied to the debtor
2 Seeking that the IVA register be updated with regard to the case closure
3 Closing down bordereau records
4 Distributing all monies and closing IVA bank accounts
but still not issuing your clients with a Certificate of Due Completion due to the Paymex issue? I'm very interested in this issue because I have sought Counsel's Opinion and the agreement of my regulators with regard to the closure of my own cases, so I am genuinely interetsed to know what is going on in other firms.
