15.4 is around double the average car deal (apart from these manufacter sponsored deals). And, better still with no deposit. But still less than I imagined it was going to be.

As you say, at the end of the day, you are happy with the repayments. So all good.

Seems like great service from CL4U

Hi
Really good news and your experience will help many.

If you can post the cost and repayment details once you know them it will help.
I guess that it is a personal loan if there is no deposit paid ?

Regards
Hi Andy, it's a fixed sum loan agreement. All I needed upfront was a holding fee to take the car off the forecourt. Only paid £44.00 for that.

Details are as follows:-

Amount of Loan £7250, 47 monthly payments of £194.84 plus final payment of nearly £194.84 plus a completion fee of £299
Total interest over the full term is £2,401.32

Sounds a lot, but considering my previous credit history, I think it's an ok deal. I was paying £903 per month for my IVA, so £194.84 a month will be fine for a good reliable car. Hopefully money will be tranferred over tomorrow and I get to pick up the car on Sunday. It's my birthday on Tuesday, so a great birthday gift for me.... top car and well chuffed.

Would be interested in others opinions though.

Now started to panic, that getting a much newer car might be too good to be true, hope I haven't jinxed things by posting too early.

A new car and still, effectively, £700 per month better off ... can't be bad. It will also be giving you a good credit history in the meantime.

Happy Birthday for Tuesday [:D]

These days that interest rate is very good. There are places with lower Internet rates but only for clients with excellent credit records, as you say post IVA I think that is a brilliant deal. My bank offered a family member a car loan at 12.9% with an excellent history.

The car is a Honda Civic 1.8 i-vtec Ex. All singing and dancing. Sat Nav, Cruise control, etc. must admit from the advert didn't expect all the extras. Will be 4 years old on 6th November, 28k on the clock.

Hi
Sounds a really good deal, well done !

Barclays online quote for someone with good credit for £7300 over 48 months is £205 per month 15.8%.............????

It can be very cost effective to have a newish car

They certainly sound like a good company to consider if you need a better car.
