An assistant but he spoke to the ip there and then. I can make it through the first year because I have had a payrise and the lodger but I just know my payments will shoot up at my review and Ill be struggling again. I am only 27 but I certainly don't feel it!

yeah she may be. I was so honest about my lodger, I know its bad but part of me thinks I should have kept it quiet and got cash in hand!! Although I could never live with myself if I did!

Loz, are the allowances in your IVA what you put on your I & E (within reason of course!) or are they what your IVA company said they should be?

I was worried you were going to say that! How on earth do companies expect people to live for 5 years on a totally unrealistic budget, and what is the point of you filling out an I & E in the first place if they are going to disregard it?

Sorry, rant over.

Have you spoken to your IP or a member of their staff? If I were you I would contact your IP and say you want to submit a revised I & E with your true expenditure,

Your I&E should be, within reason, the amount that you spend. There is no point in putting down less as the payments are never going to be sustainable.

I was lucky in that all of ours were acceped and we are managing reasonably well.

I know what you mean about haircuts - I use a small local hairdresser, have a dry trim and that costs me £12! I cut down from what I used to have (full head colour, wash and blow dry).

I wish I could get a haircut for £12 Jan! I go to one of the cheapest haidressers round here and it costs me £20 for a wet cut.

I've got very short hair though Skip. Might make a difference. 10 minutes and I'm done.

i think you are going to have to be firm with him and say its a holiday break to settle this bill and a new I+E to give him a realistic look at what you are spending!!!

If he still fobs you off my lodger would be moving out and i need an allowance for my new dog for its food.Get reciepts for everything now and keep hold of them he is living in cuckoo land and this is destined to fail if no help is given.

good luck

Mine is shoulder length and I only have the ends cut off!

The best hair cut I ever had was from a girl who worked from her house - she used to charge me £5 for a cut and £20 for highlights! Sadly she stopped, otherwise I'd still be going to her.

Sorry to hijack your thread Loz x

£5 won't get me in the door at my salon [:D] I pay £68 for colour, cut & blowdry.Do get loads of free coffee [:)] Did try different cheaper salons, but false economy as I didn't like what they did and ended up having my hair done more often!

Having hair done is a necessity to look the part for work, in my opinion.
