Now that Christmas is out the way ....any more takers for this social evening - looking forward to meeting new faces as well as catching up with those I already know.

it would be good to have a few more attending...it's a great social evening where we don't talk debt (unless you want to of course).
Time out to be yourselves no pretending around people that is how I always saw it as I always knew we were all in the same boat or had been at one point.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I'm still in and looking forward to it, got a frock I can wear so long as I can fit into it but it's giving me a bit of incentive to shift a few pounds!

Frocks all round then ! I seem to have gained a few of them in the last month or so ... To many to choose from ...looking forward to catching up with friends and meeting new ones ....

Last chance troops ...before we have to make a decision if this event is viable or not ! Real shame that not more forum members haven't taken up this opportunity to come and make new friends who have been in similar situations ...opportunity for a meal and few drinks in a nice pleasant surrounding where you can talk freely if you wish, or simply enjoy a night out ...... Please let me know by end of the week at the very latest.

It is with much regret that the planned gathering on the 8 February has been cancelled on this occasion.
Unfortunately there was insufficient support for the event to make it viable for our sponsors of the event. Thank you for those who had said they would be joining us.

Very disappointed is all I will say on the forum. I've paid for a hotel that cannot be refunded. Oh well not to worry this is the second time it's happened to me, you'd think I'd learn wouldn't you. Ignore me it's been a bad day.

Lesley I know how you feel .... I have put in alot of time and effort for noth this gathering and the last summer gathering for very little ... It is a real shame, and like you my accomodation has been booked and paid for for this event ... Despite being out of our IVA money is precious.
I think i will lock this topic now and call it a day for this evening on the forum.
