Hi, I hope you can help. I have just had my IVA transferred from Debt Matters to Grant Thornton and they have asked for my annual review information. When I was with Debt Matters they only asked me for my earnings (I included my partners contribution to the household each month in this) but the Grant Thornton review is asking for my partner's total income figures. I was under the impression that because the iVA is in my name only that only my income and expenditure counted towards it. Can you clarify this for me?
Thank you

Your partners income is only looked at to make sure you both pay your fair share towards the general household bills.
Anything he has earned on top of that is his to keep.

Thank you for answering so quickly, is much appreciated. So do I have to provide them with the full details of his salary and with the amount that he pays me each month, they don't really give that much room on the forms for all that!!

Yes - that would be wise to do so, and perhaps copy them his latest three wage slips so that they can assess your situation appropriately.
