Can you apply for an IVA with a partner. Obviously we both have debt and have lived together for 5 year but alone our debt is not £15,000 each whereas together it is.

Hi and welcome to the forum

It is possible but will depend on your circumstances.

Speak with several experts/companies and explore all options

Hi Lauren

IVAs could be options for you and your partner and you could propose interlocking IVAs with just one monthly payment for both.

I would advise you to have a look on www.IVA.com and talk to a few companies.

Let us know how you get on [:)]

Hi Lauren welcome to the forum.

Each case is looked at in its own merit so it may be possible to look at an arrangement for both of you. Once you have spoken to a couple of companies about the debts you each have and the disposable income you could have between you you can then look at which options suit you best. Olivia provides a good link for reviews of companies and there are recommendations on here too.
