I do know there isn't a problem as far as my IVA is concerned as the money I wish to save will come from our declared DI, we end up with about £10-20 left at the end of each month. This comes from real clever budgeting on the wife's part.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

I don't see any reason why you can't do that - if you have savings from your allowances then you can save them where you like.

You can open a savings account anywhere if they will let you and most IP's will encourage it so you can put some of your allowances in there until you need them.

Always good to save what little bit we have left and not knowing about credit unions can't comment but I'm sure the other posters have reassured you. savings are encouraged within the IVA where possible. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
