Hi Helen K. just read this and we are in the same position, out of a matter of intrest have you had yopur valuation and if so has it saved you 12 months...thanks,hope you don't mind me asking.
IVA STARTED OCT 2010,LAST PAYMENT 18TH NOVEMBER 2016. COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 17TH DECEMBER 2016.
WE ARE DONE
Personally I think zoopla is a joke. Our house is valued around 25k more than what I know they are going for & 20k more than similar houses in the street. Also I live in a semi detached & on zoopla there are bigger link detached houses cheaper than mine. CRAZY
Make sure and advise the agent why you wnat the valuation and pay them for the service. A few pounds well spent now would save a full year's IVA payments.
Valuation has just been done and it came in £4k less than the IP valuation, so we're well below the £5k equity with the new valuation. we ended up paying £60 for the valuation, we thought honesty was the best policy and explained to the estate agent why we needed the lower figure - our new figure is realistic though, not grossly undervalued. Just sent the IP the letter .... just waiting on PDHL's reply now!

£60 for a year's less IVA payments sounds money well spent to me. I am sure your IP will take the valuation but if not he/she can instruct [and pay for] a third. However this should not really be necessary as your valuation is for your individual property and not a desk top.
Relief! IP has accepted the quote from my estate agent and done an average of the 2 figures, this equates to just over £3k equity, final payment will be out in September, with one smaller payment for arrears in October then we're done
