Hi I have a just applied for an IVA and had to change my bank account. The bank I have choosen is Nat West but I have just discovered that they belong to the bank of Scotland of which my previous bank belongs to also. Can Halifax being one of my creditor's get access to my money paid into Nat West? A little bit worried as its too late to change banks again before the end of the month.

Hi Halifax is Linked with Bank of Scotland and GUS Catalogues.

However Natwest is linked with Royal Bank of Scotland, not the Bank of Scotland, so the Halifax has no links with Natwest or RBS So it shouldnt be a problem

Hope that helps
