[:D][:D] Kallis we don't do tents. Boys Brigade tend to do comfort. We are renting 2 bungalows in Oswestry each with a lounge, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and numerous twin bedrooms. Also with a cooker and a dishwasher (thats my favourite bit - the dishwasher). [:D]

What a difference! when I was a member of the 48th Liverpol company (30 years ago [:D]) we had an old canvas bell tent which needed waterproofing every year before we went. Usually North Wales and Snowdonia were the destinations. One year I sent a postcard home telling of the great time we were having and about the hike we had been on and how I was NAKED when we got back to camp, fortunately my mum and dad realised I meant KNACKERED but had spelt it wrong [:D] Oh such innocence [:)]

In all the years I have been doing BB we have been under canvas once. And even then we had a kitchen tent and a dining tent, and I think we were about 3 metres from the tiolet and shower block. It was fun though. I kind of wish we were going camping. The place we are going to, we have been there for 3 years running now and i think its time for something different, but I don't get to make that decision. x

We go under canvas for the week although the tents are new modern ones with different compartments and room to stand up, we got rid of the bell tents some years ago. We do insist now on having a loo and shower block can't manage with out and we have most times a kitchen block but have been known to have an improvised kitchen and mess tent.

Well, we had a great time the weekend - all I seemed to do was laugh! Last night tonight at Boys Brigade and then we are off until September. x
