Louise we use Poundland regularly.....I do a lot of DIY on my car and where as Swarfega is £2 plus in well known supermarkets and other places, I get the same amount for £1. We also find Wilkinsons can be quite good also.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

I'll go anywhere it's cheap but I do like a bit of quality sometimes. I buy dumb blonde shampoo/conditioner from ebay, you get large shampoo, large conditioner and a cream for after you've blow dryed it's £16.00 but I've been using it since last November and got another couple of months left yet so it does work out cheap in the end after the initial outlay. I guess it'll last 6 months. x

Definitely not for me Pennyless - I like my mobile phones!

We use Poundland and Wilkinsons - get the water jug filters from there, much cheaper than the Brita ones.

Pet food we get from Asda and the local pet shop.

I like Poundaland too, sadly we've not gone one or I would use it more, nearest one is 16 miles away but when I do go there I always take a look around. x

Poundland took over our local Woolies store and it's always full when we go in.

I love a bargain - most of my clothes come from Ebay or the sale rail in Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys.

Two tops and a pair of shorts from Sainsburys a few months ago - £1 each! Can't get much better than that!

[:D][:D][:D] OT!

Poundland took over our local Woolies as well. I rarely use it though - I like it but the queues are always horrendous at the weekend. If Dave goes into town during the week I let him go in there!

We were a single parent family in the 60's which was frowned upon and I used to think the WRVS was a shop!

I've signed up to kgbdeals - a friend of mine had a hair treatment for 75% less than the normal price. I haven't seen a deal I want yet, but worth a look.

I got an amazing bargain the other day....story bit first though, sorry. Had to get car washed on Tues morning as we decided quite late we would use my car for the funeral, mucky thing needed a clean. Went to morrisons drive thru car wash, put the plastic sleeve thing on the rear windscreen wiper, and drives in. Machine totally ripped apart the rear wiper. More expense for us :( though I am going to complain and see if we can get compensation.

Anyhoooo, went in to Asda to do proper weeks shop on Friday and decided to go see if they had any wipers, they were on roll back and cost me a massive '£1' LOL.

So chuffed, they usually about £10-15 a pair. Bought a new blade for each wiper, plus two for DH car. Cost £5 and prob saved something like £35 in total.

Excellent! I bought my last ones in Wilkinsons - they don't last as long as the dearer ones but they do the job and at a couple of quid each I can afford to replace them!

I must admit I don't use the automated car wash if I can help it, I usually get mine cleaned in Tesco or Sainsburys as I worry the car might get damaged.

I hope you get something back from Morrisons

I don't know if they do that round here - if they do they don't advertise it very well! I did take it there once and they asked me where I came in the Paris Dakar Rally!

Nice one Skip!

Hubby either washes ours or takes it to a local hand carwash which costs a fiver and they do an excellent job.
