I hate going to the Post Office when I've sold stuff. I've usually got a fair few parcels, and they take forever to sort. I can feel the eyes of the people in the queue behind me boring into my skull!!!!

I've found a cute little post office hidden away (well it was hidden from me) and there is never anyone in there, the staff are lovely too so I can take my time. X

You're lucky Viki. I have to try and time my visits, otherwise there is usually a queue of people waiting for benefits, pensions etc.

What always amuses me is the number of people waiting to pick up their money stood outside the post office at least 30 minutes before it is due to open!

I know I'm short of money, but I'm not that desperate yet!

The post office by our house is horrendous, just like yours, the other one is only minutes down the road so I don't mind travelling. Not sold much lately though. I might get going later on, I don't sleep too well at the moment so I might aswell keep busy while I'm wide awake! X

I love Ebay. We have just brought a High School Musical dool for my stepdaughter for her birthday. In the shops they charge about £20 but we bought it for £4. What a saving.
We also love doing carboots. ABout 2 weeks before we tell everyone and they all seem happy to sort out their old stuff for us. I love the buzz you get when someone comes to you at a sale and then you here the money drop into the little tupperware box as you complete the sale. We are doing one this weekend to try and raise a bit more money towards the 2 car taxes we have coming up this month. We also have one planned in 2 weeks cos we have got loads of stuff. I can't wait!
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

The post office I used to use before we moved took an age when I would take the items for postage and always pulled a face! The one I use now is fine, they know me now and always ask if I've had a clear out......lol.
One thing I found is try to have your 'proof of postage' card completed and if you're posting anything abroad, keep it seperate. Also it helps if you stagger posting them off, providing the PO's not that far from you.
It's nice to be back......
