..............on ebay!!!!

I am well chuffed, I have got an exhibition comming up at work and needed a few bits and have brought the following on ebay this weekend:

1) Ann Harvey suit jacket - worn once for interview - new price £79. for £8.00 inc postage
2) BRAND new Carvella shoes - rrp £75 for £4.99 + £3. postage
3) BRAND NEW moda in pelle shoes - £10.00 inc postage
4) BRAND NEW Simply Be top - ticket price £79.99 - brought for £8.75 + postage

I have never considered looking at clothes and shoes before on ebay, but Ang was my inspiration showing me a lovely top she had brought on ebay for a bargain price.
So thanks Ang I am all kitted out now for a fraction of the price,[:)]

Well pleased - urge everyone to have a good look at ebay when needing new clothes and shoes

Ooh Emma, that's brilliant. I only ever use ebay now to buy clothes, I just can't believe the price of them in the shops today. I used to just bung it on the credit card but none of that anymore! You can get some cracking bargains and I sell all my old clothes too. Viki X

That's my girl!! I get most of my clothes on e-bay as well - at least my work stuff as I no longer have time to nosey round the shops!

Apart from tomorrow when I have some time to kill in Leeds - so Harvey Nicks here I come! (Window shopping of course!)

I love Ebay, I both buy and sell. I had a £10 voucher from them recently and managed to get a pair of brand new Reiker trouser boots for £3.00 plus P&P so they cost me nothing.

Great Emma, so glad you found some good things. I like the ann Harvey stuff and the m and s. I still have o learn how to sell on there. I tol;d Emma though I did a boot sale last week, just the usual junk you hoard and will never use again. We scoured the house and in 5 hours made £180. We couldnt beleve it when we got home and counted the pennies. Anyway it put two new tyres on the car, a chinese and some left for contingency. So well worth the time.

I'm going to start looking on ebay for clothes as I never buy clothes and should look smarter especially for work!

Ang well done on the boot sale...great amount..I'll do another before summer is over did one a fortnight ago and made £50, bought a new shower (well alomost). £180 puts me to shame! Fantastic
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We dont do them very often, and to be honest lesley I dont know where we made the money. I think the most expensive thing we sold was £10. I found linen and curtains went very quickly. I emptied my shoe cupboard and some clothes and the rest really was just junk, old vases, ugly touch lamp. The one thing we did differently to usual is we went to one of the big sales, rather than the smaller local one. Lots more people and the weather was reasonable, I think that makes a huge difference.

Thats the only downfall occasionally stuff doesnt fit, but you can either resell it or boot sale it as I did with a couple and got my money back.
