Not in our local library, been looking for it in Asda as I buy some books from there as good value but can't locate it cheaply at the minute. x

Julie, what Cecelia Ahern book are you reading?

At the moment I am reading 'Thanks for the memories'. I have recently finished 'The Gift' and I have until 25th June to read 'The book of tomorrow'. I am a big fan of her books.

Kallis, I enjoy sagas too. I have read a lot of Maureen Lee's books and i love Meg Hutchinson books - especially as her books are based around the black country. xx

I love those as well Flow. I also love Annie Murray who bases her books around Birmingham, where I worked for many years.

It's worth looking on Ebay for books - I bought some for £2.49 each including postage and they were in really good condition.

That's really good value. I tend not to buy mine now though, just get them from the library.

Lesley, I'll keep an eye out for Cut...we have a great secondhand book warehouse by us.

If it's cheap enough Julie I'll have it off you at Jan's if you're going, if you want any of mine to borrow just email me I've got others that you may not have read, we can swap at Jan's and back again at the Christmas do (assuming we have one). x

Just being nosey Jan, what toys do they have? Mine don't have any but if it's soft toys, can probably help you out with a few of those. x

We have yet to find a toy that Topsy can't destroy! The longest lasting is her tug, and we've had to chop bits off that! Soft toys are fine for a while but then she tries to rip them to bits, and usually succeeds.

Thanks for the offer though.

Just catching up again!
The book people on the internet is fab for cheap deals on books!
I got the whole series of 8 books for "true blood" for only 8.99 & 1.95 delivery! They are selling for 7.99 each in WHsmiths!
Sadly Ive had no time or concentration to get down to reading them.
My fav author is James Herbert - if you like a bit of horror!
And "Marley & me" has been the best true story I have ever read & its all about a family n their daft doggy - If you have not read it n a dog lover - YOU MUST READ IT! Just dont watch the movie cos that does not reflect one bit of the book n the author!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

I'm an animal lover but will never read animal stories, or watch animal films.

Quite like James Herbert and Stephen King.

Rarely buy books these days unless they are by Bill Bryson, who I love.
